Being a nurse for forty-six years, I have worked with and observed many doctors and Dr. Nelson is at the top of my list as a primary care physician. About eight years ago I switched to her practice, and it turned out to be a lifesaving move. She suggested I get a cardio scan and the scan revealed a small lung lesion. Being diagnosed in a timely manner, I did not need chemotherapy or radiation and I have passed the five-year mark since my surgery cancer free.
